New Garbage Album Out Today!
Back in the mid-90s I was really depressed and kept making decisions that were nonsensical but seemed like good ideas at the time. Like when I thought I should move to the US. Or the hectolitres of vodka that I’m sure I drank. I can go on but I won’t… I lived a wild life and am glad I did. It made me the amazing person I am today!
The point of all this? My #1 Crush favourite band in the 90s was Garbage. Their first album got me through some major low points in my mental state. They had come to Toronto after Version 2.0 came out and were signing records at Sam’s (yup, deffo aging myself). I thanks Shirley and the band for saving me and got a hug from Shirley. Best. Day. Ever. in 1998.
Their new album since the early 00s is out today and I’m listening to it now. So far not bad but it’s definitely a throwback to what they put out in the 90s. Which isn’t a bad thing.
At least I’m NOT only happy when it rains these days. Heh.

In a few hours I’ll be on a plane and heading over to Europe for a long, well deserved, vacation. I’m only taking my iPad with me so won’t be able to upload new pictures until I’m back. When I have a chance I’ll see what other people have posted and try to repost them.
