Yesterday I rode my bike 50km on the two main highways in town. My legs are killing and I’m exhausted. Luckily the forecasted rain pretty much held off so I don’t have hypothermia as well. *phew*
We’ll see how the day goes but I don’t expect much will get done!

Man my voice is hoarse from screeching along with Garbage last night. What a great concert. So glad I was able to go! Full disclosure: Garbage is one of my top three bands ever.

Big things are happening over the next week for me. Firstly, our puppy is coming home on Saturday. That’s terribly exciting. The other one I can’t really talk about yet but, right now, I hold all of the cards there. It may be Thursday of a short week but it’s a GOOD Thursday of a short week for sure.

It’s Wednesday of a short week. Time to work on getting my hair frizzed up for the weekend.

To all my Canuck fans out there, happy Victoria Day! To the rest of you, here’s a goofy photoshop of the Queen (which the Canucks will probably love).

Back in the mid-90s I was really depressed and kept making decisions that were nonsensical but seemed like good ideas at the time. Like when I thought I should move to the US. Or the hectolitres of vodka that I’m sure I drank. I can go on but I won’t… I lived a wild life and am glad I did. It made me the amazing person I am today!
The point of all this? My #1 Crush favourite band in the 90s was Garbage. Their first album got me through some major low points in my mental state. They had come to Toronto after Version 2.0 came out and were signing records at Sam’s (yup, deffo aging myself). I thanks Shirley and the band for saving me and got a hug from Shirley. Best. Day. Ever. in 1998.
Their new album since the early 00s is out today and I’m listening to it now. So far not bad but it’s definitely a throwback to what they put out in the 90s. Which isn’t a bad thing.
At least I’m NOT only happy when it rains these days. Heh.
